Terms of Use

1. Educational information only

The Business Growth Toolkit (the "Toolkit") is provided by Cambium Commercial and powered by VectorBizz, a product of Insight Dynamics, LLC (together, "we" or "us"). Everything in it — modules, checklists, templates, AI prompts, the Business Checkup, and examples — is general information for educational purposes. It is not tailored to your business and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who knows your situation.

2. Not professional advice

Nothing in the Toolkit is legal, tax, accounting, financial, investment, insurance, human-resources, or employment advice. Using the Toolkit does not create an attorney-client, accountant-client, consulting, advisory, fiduciary, agency, partnership, or any other professional relationship with us. Before acting on anything that affects your legal, tax, financial, or employment position, consult your own attorney, accountant, or other licensed professional.

3. No guarantee of results

Business results depend on many things we don't control and can't predict — your market, location, competition, pricing, staffing, finances, timing, the economy, and how any idea is carried out. We make no promise that using the Toolkit will increase sales, attract or keep customers, improve profits, or help any business survive. Some businesses that do everything right still struggle; some ideas that work for one business won't work for yours.

Examples are illustrative. The examples in the Toolkit are illustrative scenarios meant to show how an idea can be applied. They are not guarantees, and they are not typical or promised results.

4. Your decisions and your time are your own

You choose whether to use the Toolkit, which parts to use, how much time and money to put into them, and how to apply them. You are solely responsible for those choices and their outcomes. Time or money spent following ideas in the Toolkit is your own decision, and we are not responsible for it or for any result.

5. Separate from your lease

If you are a tenant of a property owned or managed by Cambium Commercial or its affiliates, the Toolkit is an optional goodwill resource, completely separate from your lease. Using or not using it:

• does not modify, waive, or amend any term of your lease;
• does not change your rent, charges, deadlines, or other obligations;
• does not waive, delay, or limit any right or remedy of your landlord; and
• does not create any promise of rent relief, lease modification, or other concession.

Nothing we say or share in connection with the Toolkit is an offer to change your lease. Any change to a lease must be in a separate written agreement signed by both parties.

6. Third-party platforms change often

The Toolkit mentions outside services such as Google (including Business Profile and Search Console), Meta (Facebook, Instagram, and Meta Business Suite), GoDaddy and other domain and website providers, AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude, and point-of-sale and design tools. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by these companies. Their features, screens, rules, prices, and policies change frequently, and our descriptions may be out of date. Always follow each platform's current instructions, terms, and guidelines, and read their terms before you use them.

7. Using AI tools

AI tools can produce content that is wrong, outdated, or inappropriate. Review everything an AI tool writes before you use it, and don't rely on it for legal, tax, medical, or financial decisions. Don't paste private information — such as customer or patient details, employee records, passwords, or account numbers — into an AI tool. Healthcare and other regulated businesses must follow their own privacy rules (for example, HIPAA).

8. Follow the rules for marketing and reviews

You are responsible for making sure your marketing follows the law and each platform's rules. In particular:

• Texts and calls: get your customers' consent before sending marketing text messages, and honor opt-outs.
• Email: follow email marketing laws, including clear identification and an easy way to unsubscribe.
• Reviews: never write fake reviews, never pay for or offer rewards in exchange for reviews, and don't ask only happy customers. Google's policies — and, for fake or paid reviews, federal law — prohibit these practices.
• Hiring and employees: follow wage-and-hour, anti-discrimination, and other employment laws. Check job postings and policies with a professional.

9. Provided "as is"

The Toolkit is provided free, "as is," and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, timeliness, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We may change, update, or remove any part of it at any time without notice.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cambium Commercial, Insight Dynamics, LLC, and their owners, affiliates, employees, and agents are not liable for any loss or damage arising from or related to your use of, or reliance on, the Toolkit — including lost profits, lost revenue, lost time, business interruption, business failure, or any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — even if we were told such damages were possible. If you are dissatisfied with the Toolkit, your only remedy is to stop using it.

11. Privacy

The Toolkit does not ask you to create an account, and you can use every part of it without giving us any information. Your Business Checkup answers are processed in your own browser and are not sent to or stored by us. Copying a prompt or template stays on your device.

The one exception is the optional feedback form. If you choose to fill it out, what you type there — and your name and contact information, if you choose to give them — is sent to Cambium Commercial. Your Business Checkup answers are never included. We use what you send only to improve the Toolkit and, if you asked for help, to get back to you. We don't sell it or share it for marketing. Giving your contact information means you're asking us to contact you about the Toolkit; it does not sign you up for anything, and you can tell us to stop at any time. If you'd rather send nothing, simply don't use the form.

12. Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms from time to time; the date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use the Toolkit after a change means you accept the updated Terms. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
